A “4G” (LTE) software update to iPhone and iPad owners is about to be rolled out by Vodafone adding faster wireless Internet speeds… Such update will steadily roll out to users, according to Vodafone.
The wireless operator, in a brief blog entry, verifies that “4G is coming to Vodafone, and when it does… whooshka!… The users of iPhone 5, along with iPad users, by now have 4G support, but not without the update from Vodafone… The company says “If you’re using an iPhone 5, iPad mini or iPad with Retina Display, you’ve already got yourself a 4G-ready device. On Saturday, we began turning on their 4G capability”… The customers are requested to wait calm until the update rolls out to them… A number of users will get it earlier than others, but everyone will be on par in June.
Vodafone says “This tiny update will roll out gradually over the next few weeks, so don’t worry if you haven’t seen it yet. Just sit back, relax, and once June rolls around…you’ll be ready to fly!”
