If you are among those users, you can make a backup of all data on iTunes or iCloud before Jailbreaking your iPhone. The process of backing up an iDevice is very easy; you can simply enable the iCloud option in the Settings menu of your iPhone. However, if you don’t like backing up your iDevice on iCloud, you can still make a backup in iTunes.

To do this,

∙̣̇∙̣̇∙̣̣̣̇̇̇∙̣̣̇̇∙̣̇∙ Select “Backup Now” to backup all of your data which will include the Messages, Phone Calls, Applications data and all of your applications.

So, if something bad happens during the jailbreak, you can restore your iDevice to latest firmware and “restore” the previously made backup of your iPhone.
