Few Steps to Back Up Contacts on iOS, Android and BlackBerry [How to] !!
iOS, Android and BlackBerry — offer the alternative to create a back up of your contacts and save it on a physical hard drive, but the steps are to some extent different depending on your mobile platform… iPhone and BlackBerry devices permit you to originate a backup by connecting via a physical cable, but you must back up an Android device through a cloud-based Google account…
01- Connect the iPhone to the computer via the USB connection cable that came with the device… If iTunes does not launch automatically, double-click the iTunes icon to launch the program.
02- Click on the iPhone listed beneath the Devices heading in the iTunes application.
03- Right-click on the iPhone device and select the “Back Up” option from the context menu that appears… All of the iPhone’s data, including its contacts, photos and apps are now backed up onto the computer’s hard drive.
01- Open a Web browser on the computer that you want to use to back up your Android contacts… Navigate to the Google account login page and sign into your Google account.
02- Click the “Gmail” link, followed by the “Contacts” tab on the side of the Gmail homepage.
03- Click the “More” menu and select the “Export…” option. Select the “All Contacts” option, followed by the “Outlook CSV” option.
04- Click the “Export” button, select the “Save to Disk” option and click the “OK” button… Select where you would like to save the back up, then click the “OK” button to save the file.
01- Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer via the USB connection cable that came with the device… If the BlackBerry Desktop Manager program does not launch automatically, double-click its icon to launch the program.
02- Double-click the “Backup and Restore” option and select the “Advanced” option. Select the “Contacts” option to select the contacts database.
03- Select where you would like to save the back up file, then click the “Save” button to save the file.
